Aims & Scope

Journal of Brown Hospital Medicine – “The Brown Journal” – publishes original clinical research of interest to physicians and other providers in inpatient medicine, both in academia and community-based practice. The Journal of Brown Hospital Medicine is the official journal of the Division of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Journal of Brown Hospital Medicine, an online-only peer-reviewed, open access, quarterly journal, publishes the Warren Alpert Medical School Clinical Pathological Conference, original case reports, clinical research, images in medicine, and other article types. Each issue carries scientific articles of immediate interest to the practicing and aspiring clinician, including peer-reviewed, original scientific studies with direct clinical significance and current opinion papers on health care issues, and medical education.
